Test your assistant after you publish, and again after every change you publish. Both tools are under 4. Test on the assistant's page.
Run tests
Run tests plays short simulated conversations with the published assistant. They check that it:
- introduces your business,
- takes requests properly and asks for the caller's details,
- follows its safety rules, for example admitting it's an AI when asked.
Each test shows Passed or Failed, with what the simulated caller said and how the assistant replied. If one fails, read the reply, adjust your business details or instructions, publish and run the tests again. Owners and admins can run tests.
Try it
Try it lets you chat with the published assistant as if you were a caller. Ask what your customers ask: opening hours, prices, whether you serve their area, how to book. Members, admins and owners can use it.
Make a real call
Once a number is connected, call it. The call appears in Calls & Messages with its transcript, so you can check exactly what the assistant said.
Good to know
- Tests and chat use the published version. If the page shows Unpublished changes, publish first.
- If the assistant says it isn't sure, the answer is probably missing. Add it as an FAQ in the Knowledge Base and publish again.
- Something went wrong on a real call? Open the call and choose Report a problem with this call.
