How it works

From your business details to your first AI conversation

Setting up RingMind is a handful of steps, and you decide when your assistant goes live. Here's the path from choosing an assistant to answering real customers.

Six steps to go live

  1. 1Choose an industry assistantPick a ready-made AI assistant for your kind of business, or the general receptionist. Each one is offered once it has passed its tests.
  2. 2Add your business detailsFill in your hours, services and policies, write a greeting and add FAQs, a page from your website or documents to the knowledge base.
  3. 3Test itPublish, run the automatic test conversations and try it in the chat playground. Change anything and publish again.
  4. 4Choose a plan and get a numberPick a plan, then buy a local or toll-free US or Canadian number and connect it to your assistant.
  5. 5Turn on texts, WhatsApp and toolsLet the assistant answer SMS and WhatsApp, add people to its transfer list, and connect the apps it may use.
  6. 6Follow along and improveRead transcripts and messages in Conversations, and use the AI Supervisor's findings to fill gaps in its knowledge.

Tools you switch on

Assistants only use the integrations you connect and the tools you enable for them.

Approvals for risky actions

Actions that delete records or involve money always wait for an owner or admin to approve them.

People on hand

Transfers on calls, and take over on texts and WhatsApp, whenever a person should handle it.

Good to know

  • Numbers are available in the US and Canada, and existing numbers can't be ported yet.
  • US texting needs carrier registration (10DLC or toll-free verification); support helps you register.
  • WhatsApp depends on Meta's approval and your account's eligibility.
  • All 31 integrations are in Beta: built and tested, but not yet verified with every account type.

Questions

Do I need technical skills to set it up?

No. You fill in forms, review imported content and test the assistant in the browser. Connecting some integrations needs an API token or a sign-in from that app.

Can I test the assistant before customers call?

Yes. Automatic test conversations and a chat playground let you check it before you connect a number.

What happens if I change my details later?

The assistant page shows that you have unpublished changes. Publish again and the live assistant is updated.

Can I invite my team?

Yes. Owners and admins invite people by email as admins, members or viewers.

Ready to make it yours?
