Salon & Spa AI Receptionist

Start from the Salon & Spa Receptionist, add your massage types, therapists and policies to its knowledge, connect your calendar for bookings, and add the studio manager to the transfer list.

What it's planned to handle

Books massage sessions.

  • Explains your massage types and session lengths.
  • Books sessions with a specific therapist or the first one available.
  • Shares what to expect on a first visit and your arrival and cancellation policy.
  • Takes messages about gift cards, packages and special requests.

What you'd fill in

  • Massage types and session lengths
  • Therapists and their working days
  • Cancellation and late-arrival policy
  • First-visit information and intake form link
  • How gift cards and packages work

Questions it's meant for

Caller: “Do you have a ninety-minute deep tissue slot this weekend?”
Caller: “Can I request a female therapist?”
Caller: “What's your cancellation policy?”

Rules it would follow

  • Never say whether massage is safe for a medical condition or pregnancy; suggest the client check with their doctor and tell the therapist.
  • Never give treatment or health advice.

How assistants are released

Each RingMind assistant ships with its own instructions, safety rules and a test suite, and is offered only once every test passes. Join early access to hear when this one is ready.

Tools it would work with

Hands busy, phone ringing

Massage therapists can't answer mid-session, and independent studios rarely have a front desk. The calls are predictable: is there a ninety-minute slot this weekend, can I request a particular therapist, what's the cancellation policy, do you sell gift cards. Each unanswered call is a booking that may go elsewhere.

How the planned Massage Studio Receptionist is meant to work

The Massage Studio Receptionist is planned and not yet available. It is being designed to explain your massage types and session lengths, book sessions with a chosen therapist or the first available, share first-visit information and your arrival and cancellation policy, and take messages about gift cards, packages and special requests. It would never say whether massage is safe for a medical condition or pregnancy, suggesting the client check with their doctor and tell the therapist.

Use RingMind for this today

Start from the Salon & Spa Receptionist:

  1. Business details: list massage types and session lengths in Main services or products, with prices if you want them quoted, and fill in your Cancellation policy.
  2. Knowledge Base: add approved FAQs for first visits, the intake form link, late arrivals, therapists' working days, and how gift cards and packages work. See the Knowledge Base guide.
  3. Additional instructions: say that health and pregnancy questions go to the client's doctor and the therapist, and that no treatment advice is given.
  4. Connected tools: connect Google Calendar or Calendly so it can offer and book open sessions.
  5. Transfer list: add the studio manager, then turn on Transfer calls in Tools.

Clients who prefer to text can use the same assistant once Answer SMS & WhatsApp is on. See AI receptionist for salons and spas, or join early access.

Massage Studio AI Receptionist: questions

Is it available now?

Not yet. The Massage Studio Receptionist is planned. Today you can set up the Salon & Spa Receptionist for your studio, and join early access for the dedicated version.

Can clients request a specific therapist?

Yes, if each therapist's calendar is connected, for example through Calendly. Otherwise the request is taken as a message.

Will it say whether massage is safe during pregnancy?

It shouldn't. Add a rule that health questions go to the client's doctor and the therapist; the planned assistant treats this as a fixed rule.

Can it sell gift cards?

It can explain how they work from your knowledge base and take the request as a message. It never accepts card numbers.

Will it quote session prices?

Yes, if you list prices in your services. It won't invent prices that aren't there.
