General Business AI Receptionist
Use the General Business Receptionist with your qualifying questions in its extra instructions, connect HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce so it can capture leads, and add salespeople as transfer targets for callers who are ready to talk.
What it's planned to handle
Qualifies inbound leads.
- Asks the business's qualifying questions (need, timeline, budget range, location, decision-maker)
- Records each lead and its answers in the connected CRM
- Transfers qualified callers to an available salesperson
- Politely closes out enquiries the business doesn't serve and notes why
What you'd fill in
- What a qualified lead looks like for you
- The qualifying questions to ask
- Services or products you sell and areas you serve
- Salespeople who take transfers
- Which CRM records your leads
Questions it's meant for
Rules it would follow
- Do not quote prices or make commitments the business hasn't listed; a salesperson confirms terms.
How assistants are released
Each RingMind assistant ships with its own instructions, safety rules and a test suite, and is offered only once every test passes. Join early access to hear when this one is ready.
Tools it would work with
Too many enquiries, not enough salespeople
When enquiries arrive faster than the sales team can answer, promising leads wait alongside ones you can't serve. Salespeople spend calls asking the same opening questions, and good leads cool off while they wait for a callback. Qualifying consistently also means every salesperson gets the same useful picture of each lead before the first real conversation.
How the planned Lead Qualification Assistant is meant to work
The planned assistant would ask your own qualifying questions about need, timeline, budget range, location and who decides, record each lead and its answers in your connected CRM, transfer qualified callers to an available salesperson and politely close out enquiries you don't serve. It wouldn't quote prices or make commitments you haven't listed. This assistant is planned and not available yet.
Use RingMind for this today
The General Business Receptionist can do most of this now:
- Business details: describe what you sell and the areas you serve.
- Additional instructions: write your qualifying questions in order, and describe what a qualified lead looks like so it knows when to offer a transfer.
- Connected tools: connect HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce and enable lead capture so every enquiry is recorded with its answers (integrations help).
- Transfer list: add up to five salespeople for callers who are ready to talk.
- Knowledge base: add FAQs on services, service areas and how quotes work, so it can answer the questions leads ask while qualifying.
It handles inbound calls, texts and WhatsApp messages; it doesn't call leads. Read more about lead capture.
