Tools it would work with

Crews are out, and the season is short

Landscaping and lawn care businesses run on a busy season. Crews are on site all day, and spring brings a rush of estimate requests for patios, cleanups and weekly mowing. Calls that go unanswered in the first warm week often become jobs for someone else.

How the planned Landscaping Receptionist is meant to work

The Landscaping Receptionist is planned and not yet available. It is being designed to ask what the customer wants (mowing, design, hardscaping, cleanup or tree work), collect the property address, rough yard size and timing, book on-site estimates, and explain your seasonal services and how recurring maintenance plans work. Work you refer out, such as large tree removal, would be explained politely.

Use RingMind for this today

Start from the General Business Receptionist:

  1. Business details: list your services by season in Main services or products, and your service area.
  2. Knowledge Base: add approved FAQs for how recurring maintenance plans work, when seasonal services start, and which work you refer out. See the Knowledge Base guide.
  3. Additional instructions: list the details to collect for each estimate: address, yard size, the project and preferred timing.
  4. Connected tools: connect Google Calendar or Calendly to book estimates, and Airtable if you track jobs there.
  5. Transfer list: add your crew lead or office, then turn on Transfer calls in Tools.

Update the knowledge base as the season changes and publish again so the assistant uses the new answers. See home services and missed call text back, or join early access.

Landscaping AI Receptionist: questions

Is it available now?

Not yet. The Landscaping Receptionist is planned. Today you can set up the General Business Receptionist with your seasonal services, and join early access for the dedicated version.

Can it book on-site estimates?

Yes, with a connected calendar such as Google Calendar or Calendly. Without one it takes the estimate request as a message.

Can it change answers for each season?

Edit your knowledge base and business details when the season changes, then publish again. There is no automatic seasonal switch.

Will it give a price for a patio?

Only from prices you have approved. Most landscapers offer an estimate visit instead, and the assistant can book it.

Can it log jobs in Airtable?

With Airtable connected (Beta) and the create-record tool enabled, it can add a record for each new request.
