RingMind IT Helpdesk Assistant Brain · on the roadmap

IT Helpdesk AI Assistant: First-line IT support and ticket creation.

For internal IT teams and managed service providers handling employee support requests. It is meant to do first-line triage and make sure every request becomes a properly filled-in ticket.

Available to use today

General Business AI Receptionist

Use the General Business Receptionist with your IT guides as approved knowledge, connect Jira Service Management or ServiceNow so it can open requests and check their status, and add your on-call engineer as a transfer target for outages.

What it's planned to handle

First-line IT support and ticket creation.

  • Collects the requester's name, team, device and a clear description of the problem
  • Walks through approved first-line fixes from the IT knowledge base, such as reconnecting to Wi-Fi or restarting a device
  • Creates a ticket in the connected service desk with priority based on impact
  • Checks the status of an existing ticket for the person who raised it
  • Treats outages affecting many people or suspected security incidents as urgent

What you'd fill in

  • Approved troubleshooting guides
  • Priority rules (what counts as urgent)
  • Which service desk holds your tickets
  • On-call contacts for outages and security incidents
  • Support hours

Questions it's meant for

Caller: “I can't connect to the VPN from home.”
Caller: “My laptop won't turn on and I have a client meeting in an hour.”
Caller: “What's happening with the ticket I opened yesterday about my email?”

Rules it would follow

  • Never ask for or accept a password, recovery code or one-time code.
  • Never reset accounts or change access; those go to the IT team.

How assistants are released

Each RingMind assistant ships with its own instructions, safety rules and a test suite, and is offered only once every test passes. Join early access to hear when this one is ready.

Tools it would work with

First-line support takes the most time

Internal IT teams and managed service providers spend much of their day on requests that start with incomplete details: "my laptop is broken." Getting the device, the team and a clear description takes a conversation, and requests raised by phone often never become proper tickets.

How the planned IT Helpdesk Assistant is meant to work

The planned assistant would collect the requester's name, team, device and a clear description of the problem, walk through approved first-line fixes from your IT knowledge base, create a ticket with priority based on impact, check the status of an existing ticket and treat outages or suspected security incidents as urgent. It would never ask for passwords or one-time codes and never reset accounts or change access. This assistant is planned and not available yet.
