What it's planned to handle

Qualifies and books product demos.

  • Asks short qualifying questions such as team size, use case and current tools
  • Books the demo with the right salesperson from their connected calendar
  • Creates or updates the prospect in the CRM with the answers
  • Directs existing customers with support questions to the support team instead

What you'd fill in

  • Demo types and their length
  • Qualifying questions and how they decide who runs the demo
  • Sales team calendars
  • Where existing customers should go for support

Questions it's meant for

Caller: “I'd like to see a demo of your platform for my team.”
Caller: “Do you have any demo times this Thursday?”
Caller: “We're comparing a few tools. Can you show us how reporting works?”

How assistants are released

Each RingMind assistant ships with its own instructions, safety rules and a test suite, and is offered only once every test passes. Join early access to hear when this one is ready.

Tools it would work with

Demos are the sales motion

For software and product companies, the demo is where deals start. Every demo request that waits for a reply is a prospect still comparing options, and booking the wrong salesperson wastes a slot for both sides. Asking a few good questions up front lets the person running the demo show what matters to that prospect instead of a generic tour.

How the planned Demo Scheduling Assistant is meant to work

The planned assistant would ask short qualifying questions such as team size, use case and current tools, book the demo with the right salesperson from their connected calendar, create or update the prospect in your CRM, and send existing customers with support questions to your support team instead. This assistant is planned and not available yet.

Use RingMind for this today

The General Business Receptionist can qualify and book demos now:

  1. Additional instructions: write your qualifying questions and how you decide who runs which demo.
  2. Connected tools: connect Calendly to book demos at open times, and HubSpot or Salesforce to capture each lead (integrations help).
  3. Business details: list your demo types and their length, and where existing customers go for support.
  4. Transfer list: add a support contact so existing customers reach the right team, plus salespeople for prospects who want to talk now.
  5. Website chat: add the assistant to your website so visitors can book from your pricing or product pages (website chat).

It works for inbound calls, texts and chats; it doesn't call prospects. See appointment booking for how calendar booking works.
