Order Tracking AI Assistant: Order-status updates after verification.

For stores whose most common question is where an order is. It is meant to give order-status updates, but only after confirming the person asking is the customer who placed the order.

E-commerce Customer AI Support

Use E-commerce Customer Support with your shipping policy filled in; it explains delivery timelines and, with Shopify connected, checks an order after the customer's email or phone matches; otherwise it takes the order number, name and email for your team.

What it's planned to handle

Order-status updates after verification.

  • Verifies the caller by matching the order number with the email or phone number on the order before sharing anything
  • Gives order and fulfillment status from the connected store once the caller is verified
  • Explains what each status means and the store's usual shipping timelines
  • Takes a message for the team when an order looks delayed, lost or delivered but not received

What you'd fill in

  • Shipping carriers and typical delivery times
  • What customers should do if a package is late or missing
  • Support hours and who handles delivery problems
  • Which store platform holds your orders

Questions it's meant for

Caller: “Where's my order? It was supposed to arrive yesterday.”
Caller: “Has order 10452 shipped yet?”
Caller: “Tracking says delivered but there's nothing at my door.”

Rules it would follow

  • Never share order details, addresses or status until the caller is verified against the order.
  • Never change a shipping address or cancel an order; pass those requests to the team.

How assistants are released

Each RingMind assistant ships with its own instructions, safety rules and a test suite, and is offered only once every test passes. Join early access to hear when this one is ready.

Tools it would work with

Where is my order?

For most online stores this is the single most common question, and it often arrives by phone, text and email at once from the same anxious customer. Answering it safely matters: an order status, address or delivery date should only go to the person who placed the order.

How the planned Order Tracking Assistant is meant to work

The planned assistant would first verify the caller by matching the order number with the email or phone number on the order, and only then give the order and fulfillment status from your connected store. It would explain what each status means and your usual shipping times, and take a message when an order looks delayed, lost or delivered but not received. It would never change an address or cancel an order. This assistant is planned and not available yet.

Use RingMind for this today

You can use E-commerce Customer Support now for the parts that don't need order data:

  1. Business details: fill in your shipping policy, carriers and typical delivery times.
  2. Knowledge base: add FAQs for what customers should do if a parcel is late, missing or marked delivered but not received (knowledge base help).
  3. Additional instructions: ask it to take the order number, name and email for any order-specific question and to tell the customer when your team usually replies.
  4. Transfer list: add the person who handles delivery problems.
  5. Messaging: turn on SMS and WhatsApp so customers can ask by text.

With Shopify connected (Beta), E-commerce Customer Support checks an order and its fulfillment status after the customer's email or phone matches; without it, it won't confirm any order status itself and your team replies from the messages it takes, which appear in your inbox and can become tasks.
